The General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individual citizens of the European Union and the European Economic Area. It also addresses the transfer of personal data outside the EU and EEA areas. GDPR, which was made by European Parliament and Council of the European Union on 14 April 2016 and replaces the Data Protection Directive, entered into force on 25 May 2018. The Institute of Measurement Science of the Slovak Academy of Sciences fulfills the duty of information in connection with the processing and protection of your personal data.
