The Austrian-Slovak conference for students of secondary grammar schools, entitled Sparkling Science: FEM_Pers Conference Bratislava, will be held at the Institute of Measurement Science on September 22, 2016. The conference has been organized by the Austrian Academy of Sciences (Breath Research Institute University of Innsbruck, Austria) and the Slovak Academy of Sciences (Institute of Measurement Science in co-operation with the Mathematical Institute).

The aim of the student conference was to popularize science and its applications, especially for talented students of the grammar schools in Austria and Slovakia. The conference has been attended by 40 students of the following schools: Bundesrealgymnasium in der AU Innsbruck, Gymnasium Adolf-Pichler Platz Innsbruck, Akademisches Gymnasium Innsbruck, Gymnázium Jura Hronca, and Gymnázium Grösslingová 18, Bratislava.
