Plaketa_TyslerDr. Túnyi in his laudatio stressed that Dr. Tyšler is a reputable specialist in biomedical engineering. The main topic of his scientific interest was and still is the research and development of devices for multichannel ecg measurement. In this context he is also involved in development of new methods for noninvasive diagnostics of some cardiovascular diseases based on measurement and modeling of the cardiac electrical field. Diagnostics of cardiocascular diseases such as myocardial ischemia or some arrhythmias is also in these days an actual problem of the medical research. Dr. Tyšler with coworkers published more than 325 works in scientific journals, reviewed conference proceedings and monograph chapters.

At his jubilee - 60th birthday - the Presidium of SAS awarded him the Honorary SAS plaquette of Aurel Stodola for the deserts in technical sciences.
