  • The Nuclotron accelerator magnetic field cycle control system

Result 1: The Nuclotron accelerator magnetic field cycle control system

Project: -
Authors: L. Ondriš, D. Krušinský, P. Ondrejkovič

The Optoelectronic measuring methods department research team of IMS SAS together with cooperating JINR Dubna research team solved a new method of generation of intense heavy ion and polarized nuclear beams aimed at searching for the mixed phase of nuclear matter and investigation of polarization phenomena at the collision ion energies up to 11 GeV.

In 2010 was the new electronic apparatus for Nuclotron magnetic field cycle control developed and realized  in the IMS. This apparatus will remarkably increase the quality parameters of this process. Newest knowledge of computer aided electronic circuitry design and also newest electronic elements as programmable logic arrays were used in the project.

Result applicator: Laboratory of high energy physics, JINR Dubna
