Cardiac Electric Field

Trilateral SAS - HAS project

Duration of the project: 1/2007 - 12/2009

Cooperating institutions: Institute of Measurement Science SAS, Bratislava; Institute of Normal and Pathological Physiology SAS, Bratislava; CRIP Research Institute for Technical Physics and Material Science, Budapest, Hungary

Responsible investigators: Dr. Milan Tyšler, Dr. Vavrinec Szathmáry, Prof. Gyorgy Kozmann

Aim of the cooperation is to support research of advanced model-based ECG methods based on multilead high resolution measurements, exchange of scientific results and experimental data.

The partners will cooperate in modelling of the cardiac electric field during depolarization and repolarization, in early noninvasive detection of local changes of myocardium repolarization and in development of new methods and devices for high resolution measurement and representation of cardiac signals.
