The centrifuge device for hypergravity simulation in gravitational physiology experiments with animals is used. Observations are proposed for the group of animals exposed to hypergravity by using centrifuge device simulating a gravity load up to 6g, g = 9.80665 ms-2. The blood samples from tested animals obtained during the experiments are used for the analysis of influence of the gravitation force on the animal organism. The radiofrequency remote control block of automated blood withdrawal system was developed. The short time (up to two hours) and the long time experiments (up to one or two weeks) are performed on this device. Animals are divided to two groups – tested ones are placed in the cabins attached at centrifuge arms and the second group is placed on the floor of centrifuge room for comparison. Only the stress factors (noise and vibration of device, light, and temperature) have influence on this group of animals, not the gravitation force.

Accomplished results in year 2006:

The device flexibility increasing by new modules:

  • The second command RF receiver for the monitoring group of tested animals placed outside the centrifuge was added.
  • The three CCD color camera system enabling to save video sequences in the main control computer, used for analysis of tested animals’ behavior during acceleration/deceleration phases of the centrifuge rotation was supplemented.
  • For the long-time experiments, the blood samples thermo stabilization system with liquid cooling based on the thermoelectric Peltier device was developed.
  • In consideration of increasing of the power supply requirements, the complete new self-sufficient electric cabling was realized.
  • Electro-mechanical equipment of the centrifuge device will be used for study of microgravity effect of experimental animals during the space flight and for understanding changes of mechanism of the neuroendocrinal system and metabolic process. Fist experiments with the animals were successfully realized.
