Kutn\u00e1 Hora Medical s. r. o."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this week, the <strong>Institute of Measurement Science, Slovak Academy of Sciences<\/strong>, together with colleagues from the <strong>Kutn\u00e1 Hora Medical Centre<\/strong>, visited the <strong>Rehabilitation Institute Kladruby<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, the team presented an <strong>innovative rehabilitation system<\/strong> that combines <strong>brain-computer interfaces (BCI)<\/strong> with <strong>head-mounted display virtual reality (HMD VR)<\/strong> to support recovery after stroke.<\/p>\n<p>A key element of the system is the <strong>collaborative virtual reality platform<\/strong>, developed by our colleagues at the <strong>Technical University of Ko\u0161ice<\/strong>, which allows both <strong>patients and therapists to engage together in the same immersive environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p> The project develops a novel patient\u2013therapist collaborative framework that integrates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>BCI<\/strong> for neural activity monitoring<\/li>\n<li><strong>VR<\/strong> for immersive rehabilitation experiences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The project is led by <strong>Dr. Roman Rosipal<\/strong> and his research team, who bring extensive expertise in <strong>brain-computer interfaces, virtual reality applications, and advanced data analysis methods<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We are excited to continue building this collaboration and advancing the future of neurorehabilitation.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
