{"id":3936,"date":"2025-07-15T13:58:19","date_gmt":"2025-07-15T11:58:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.um.sav.sk\/en\/?p=3936"},"modified":"2025-10-01T14:03:11","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T12:03:11","slug":"18th-czech-and-slovak-conference-on-magnetism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.um.sav.sk\/en\/news\/18th-czech-and-slovak-conference-on-magnetism\/","title":{"rendered":"18th Czech and Slovak Conference on Magnetism"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From July 7th to 11st, our colleagues Melinda Majerov\u00e1 and Andrej Dvure\u010denskij from the Department of Magnetometry participated in CSMAG\u00b425 (18<sup>th<\/sup> Czech and Slovak Conference on Magnetism) in \u0160trbsk\u00e9 Pleso (Slovakia).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Czech and Slovak Conference on Magnetism (CSMAG) is a scientific meeting that honors a longstanding tradition initiated in Ko\u0161ice in 1960. Evolving from a regional gathering of the Czechoslovak magnetic community into a prominent international forum, CSMAG brings together researchers from diverse fields of magnetism. The conference covers a wide range of topics including theoretical and experimental magnetism, magnetic materials for energy and spintronics applications, low-dimensional and molecular magnets, rare-earth and actinide systems, and multifunctional materials. With contributions from over 20 countries, CSMAG\u201925 fosters cross-disciplinary collaboration and showcases the latest advances in both fundamental studies and practical applications of magnetic phenomena.<\/li>\n<li>At the conference, Melinda presented the work entitled &#8221; The influence of Ni<sup>2+<\/sup> ion addition on thermal and magnetic properties of 2CaO-Al<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>3<\/sub>-SiO<sub>2<\/sub> glasses\u201c. Andrej presented the work entitled \u201cSQUID Magnetometry Applied to the Study of Surface<\/li>\n<li>Properties of Titanium Alloy Biomedical Implants\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\"
