We invite you to the exposition of the Institute of Measurement Science SAS at the science festival WEEKEND with SAS, which takes place on June 23 and 24, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on M.R. \u0160tef\u00e1nik square at Eurovea in Bratislava. The institute’s exposition will present the following topics:<\/span><\/p>\n

Life of cells in a magnetic field:<\/strong><\/span> How does a magnetic field affect cells? How can we measure these effects? Can we use them somehow?<\/span><\/p>\n

Magnetic resonance, the invention of the century:<\/strong><\/span> What is MR, what is its principle? How can we represent it in a magnetic-mechanical model? What are magnetic fluids?<\/span><\/p>\n

Multi-lead ECG measurement:<\/strong><\/span> How does it work and what is it good for? What do ECG signals look like in different diagnoses? What will the ECG potential maps on the surface of the chest tell us?<\/span><\/p>\n

Magnetic susceptibility, magnetic levitation:<\/strong><\/span> What is it?\u00a0<\/span>What substances do we know, what objects can float? What can magnetic susceptibility and magnetic levitation be used for?<\/span><\/p>\n
