The broader context of the work is research focused on the influence of external weak low-frequency electromagnetic fields on the functions of selected biological objects, with a vision for the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic methods. Part of the work will be the design and implementation of HW, SW and integration of the impedance module into an experimental platform enabling quantitative characterization of the biological response of cells. The aim of the dissertation is to investigate various variants of methods based on impedance spectroscopy, which can be used to determine the concentration of cells in a liquid medium. The candidate is expected to have experience with the design of interfaces for electronic devices and programming knowledge in Matlab.
