This method is based on the singular decomposition of the transfer matrix, which describes the relationship between the cardiac generator and the potentials measured on the chest. The results showed that the electrodes whose signals most significantly affect the inverse solution are located in close proximity to the site of ventricular activity and their position is different depending on the position of the source [1]. The results further showed that by using a subset that contains only the signals that most significantly affect the inverse solution, we can in some cases obtain more accurate results of the inverse localization [2].
