Ji\u0159\u00ed P\u0159ibil <a href=\"mailto:umerprib@savba.sk\">(umerprib@savba.sk)<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nExternal educational institution: <strong>Institute of Measurement Science SAS<\/strong><br \/>\nAccepting university: <strong>Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Institute of Electrical Engineering<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Annotation:<br \/>\nAnalysis of energy relations of noise and vibration in the open-air and whole-body MRI devices (open-air E-Scan Esaote Opera and whole-body TMR96) in terms of their potential physiological as well as psychological effect on investigated persons in dependence on the intensity and duration of exposure. The concerned factors include changes in blood pressure and heart rate &#8211; detected in the sensed photoplethysmographic (PPG) signal, or differences of vascular vessels detected from MR images of the human hand, and increase in the stress factor evaluated from the speech signal recorded in parallel.<br \/>\nThe applicant is expected to have knowledge of the theory of vibration and acoustic noise, basic human physiology, numerical methods for signal and image processing and the ability of Matlab programming.
