Most important results:
Electronic measuring instruments (pressure and flow measurement of liquids, extracorporal circulation and oxymetry, artificial blood pumps working synchronized with the biological heart, diaphragm movements) for cardiosurgery and respirology.
Measurement of mechanical attractive force of permanent magnets, measurement of dynamic sources of electrostatic fields, electrotenzometry of liquids and photoelectric pressure meters.
Instrumentation for experimental cardiosurgery: assisted circulation - intra-aortal balloon counterpulsation, measurement of the blood pressure.
Measuring systems and special measuring methods design for medicine and physics (Achilles tendon reflex measurement, microcomputer controlled pulse generator for NMR experiments, magnetic field measuring instrument, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging).
His list of papers involves more than 150. He author of 21 patents confirmed by a certificate.
PhD Study supervisor:
In 1997 he was nominated to be a chairmen of the “Common Scientific Commission for Bionics and Biomechanics” established for to guarantee the postgraduate study for Slovak Universities and institutes of Slovak Academy of Sciences.
Since 2006 he is the supervisor of the PhD study for “Measurement Science” for The Institute of Measurement Science SAS.
